you cant make anything usefull to use, you cant make money buying and selling, you cant make money mining, you cant make money fighting and if you do want to fight you have to choose one of 3 linear battlegrounds that just repeat themselves every game.
If you want choice, dont choose WOW.

Errrm I think you can take over land, isnt that the purpose of the controlled areas?
Theres some sort of tower thing. I found some the other day while exploring. They belong to either Alliance or Horde and are like soveriegnty towers.
Havent tried mining or making money from fighting yet but PvP is definitely not limited to 3 battlegrounds. On the RPPVP server I play on you can PvP anywhere except the major cities with scaling restrictions
- You can attack any enemy in your own city, in uncontrolled territory you can attack anyone of any age bracket, in enemy territory you can attack anyone who attacks you first. There are actually more PvP restrictions in EvE then the server I play on. Less penalties for death but thats the aim of that game, fast PvP, Less loss vs EvE, slow PvP, high loss.
One is not necessarily better then the other since its subjective.

8) Their Auction House was as bad at EVE's T2 Inflation. (stupid ass carebears)
9) Running from one end of a map to the other is about as tedious as going thirty jumps in EVE.
10) Some dungeons can LITERALLY take over a day.
11) What do you do when you hit level 60, have the best (and yes there is a best) gear and have maxed out your characters PvP reputation? Create a new character and do it all over again! 
Welcome to World of Grindcraft. A totally mind numbing experience.
Errrm
1. I just spent 1.5 months grinding worlds collide so I could afford to buy a capital ship.
2. I feel obliged to log on and grind isk so I can get my moneys worth. And even then I cant because I dont want to join an alliance.
3. Since unlike yourself, I never knew all of the people on all of the servers I cant respond to that comment. But I assume its a rather large generalization.
4. Kill 1 ship and pod in low sec and you need to grind to get NPC faction back. Faction = Reputation.
5. In EvE, trying to get into 0.0 unless you join the Horde, is extremely hard and you will generally have the crap kicked out of you.
6. Not sure about this.
7. ?
8. As bad as EvE then.
9. Just like in EvE no one forces you to run to the other end of the map. Its a choice that should be available to people who are willing to go the extra distance.
10. Thats bad? Too much content is bad?
11. What did you do in EvE today that you didnt do last week, or last year? Been playing for a very long time and I can tell you theres pretty much nothing to do except log on and train a skill, grind ISK or help out in the help channel.

Err yeah sorry.
That Monkey idiot came into the L4 channel the other day, asked for some advice and when he didnt like what I told him he became offensive and started talking about how I 'guzzle cum'??
Very offensive little worm with no manners and class. I'll edit my posts and then just ignore him.
All I told him is that he would have more trouble doing L4 in a Typhoon then a Raven because of turret range vs missile range or lackthereof. Go figure.
